Grab yer trees lads, we're in!
I stumbled across this place on my recent trip to Crete. Purely by accident, of course.

Did you take up the opportunity to do a bit of bush trimming?

You don't just lower the tone, Will. You pick it up by the scruff of the neck and drop it out of the window.
Isn't this how a similar conversation with Fiona started over on Facebook?

Will, I dont think he did any bush trimming down there. As far as I've heard, he's all about deadwood.

I dunno gents, first you take yer trees in there. Next we'll be reading posts in the pests and diseases forum! Not to worry, a little bleach water and a stiff bristle brush on yer nebari and your trunks will clear it right up!

Oh go on Tim...I've racked my brains but cannot think of anything that will get past the mods. My choice would have been a bristle Pine or a Brazilian Nut tree.

As a word of caution; while I, personally, made the choice, long ago, to not allow my trees to get too close to other people's trees, I would highly recommend anyone discovering that they have an infested tree to kindly quarantine their tree to prevent spreading the infestation!

Ah but there are good Beavers and bad Beavers. A bad Beaver can reduce your formal upright, to a semi cascade in no time at all.

Well, a bad beaver isnt always as bad as you may think. You might be a showstopper as a shohin.
Just make sure it doesnt pull the trunk out with the roots.

I realy dont understand the misunderstanding here? Privet clubs are quite normal here in Holland!
There are even clubs in Amsterdam were they do all kinds of stuff with a Giant Cavendish aka the comon banana!
Cheers,
Hans van Meer.

14-8-2004. Somewhere in the south of Holland. A rare picture of a privet dancer, caught in the act in her natural habitat.

Indeed Will, and what a large bush it is. It must take a lot of trimming.
