Can I cordially suggest that you split this into separate posts - one for each tree? That may be less daunting for other members. And posting the picture directly instead of a link would also help. You can find out how to post your pics held on Flickr by clicking HERE. Scroll down to the section on posting pictures held on Flickr. It simply lodges your pics as an actual photo rather than a link.

Hope you get some responses.

How to design these trees? Empty How much does the care of bonsai cost?

Post  agniete1 Mon Sep 25, 2017 9:42 am

Hello, I have a question about bonsai trees price. I want to buy some of them because they look amazing. But I'm sure they need a lot of maintenance and that costs some money.... Can you tell me how much do you spend on bonsai ? Especially if they catch any diseases..

kral0001,

suggestion,

[1] How tall would you want these trees to be as finished Bonsai ?

[2] Read up on ground growing, you need - trunk - root and 6 branches.
Plant in a colander --------- if you need roots on the surface use a tile under the tree in the soil,
look at growing 6 branches.

The guideline is 2.5 cm of trunk diameter to 15 cm of height.
So for example ------- 30 cm tall tree = trunk of 5 cm.
Google ----- lots of information on ground growing on line.

agniete1,

if you have never grown anything before ----
suggestion, buy a few potted plants, possibly native to your area and see if you can get them
to thrive for about 3 to 5 years.

Pop down to a Bonsai Club make a pest of yourself.

Then with an informed opinion purchase 5 small bonsai plants, 10 even better, so you don't
love them to death.
Laters.
