triple trunk shohin.
Hello all
I have buy this J.Procumbens "nana" from garden store on 15/2/10, yes! this year.
I decide to style it to triple trunk style. now it hight is about 20 cm.
first pic was take on Feb 2010, after first styleing.
two month later on Apr 2010, I was wired the lower trunk.
seven month after first style (Sep 2010) it look more dense with good health.
two day ago I'm decide to thining it and rewired some details branchs. here are the resuit>>>

I like the last picture for the front, the trunk lines flow better. You would have to change the palcement of the trunks but I think this is worth a second look. The foliage pads are developing nicely. Todd

as you see on side pics (L,R), now the taper of main trunk have already flow to the front. if I wire this taper back to the back(new front), I think the reposition of all branchs are necessary. but at all it look worth as your opinion. thank you very much. I will think about it and look around my tree again.

As long as a species will survive, the tropics are great for year around growth.

Thanks Billy, yes I agree with you. but something that I'm still confuse are...growing season and training chart for connifer in tropics area..., as you know... my country not cool enough for follow training chart from cooller country as EU,USA or JP..., my question are> can you give some advise about growing juniper bonsai in tropics area?.

Don't mess with the roots except in the coolest months, keep well watered, used very well draining soil, watch for spider mites, light shade in the heat of the summer, well fertilized because they are growing
