Smaller leavers and denser growth on the P. costalis. Very nice for bonsai.

Podocarpus costalis has thicker leaves. Also, they have beautiful luster and havea rounded tip. These leaf characteristics will enable a compact design. Also, their bark seem to be a bit flackier.
