I remember I have seen a past thread in IBC concerning this bonsai nursery....
Shall we expect to see some pictures of your visit there, Mr. Rhodes? Smile

Pictures, hopefully. I met another IBC member and he did have a camera. He bought a tree from Jim Smith and discussed design with Jim. Then we went to the Turner's and Jim Vanlandingham helped him cut.

Yes it was a very treasured experience to be in such company. And have the ability to photo document history.I have several videos and probibly a few dozen photos of each nursery.I am off to one other tomorrow and plan on doing the same over there aswell. I did not bring my camera connect cable so it will be after the 3rd b4 I will be able to post any photos so just like in this hobby patience is the key.

Billy, I can't say thank you to you enough for taking time to meet up with me and take me to some of the best american nurseries for tropical species I have ever been to .I will treasue the memories and send you everything I took so you can have them aswell. By the way I watered in the ficus and have it in a clear plastic bag condensing at the moment like a mini green house I will open it back up this evenining to let the humidity lower a little. Can't wait to start a thread on this trees progression. Please thank everyone for me again who made it a special experience and day trip Definantly worth it!!!

As long as you keep it away from the AC unit, I don't think you need the plastic bag.
