hard water
hi, I have a limescale problem it seems that some of my bonsai with nebari ''Exposed Roots'' have limescale over the roots and wanted to know if there was anything that I could do to solve the problem ?

Carefully painting on diluted vinegar is usually advised, so that not too much runs into the soil, but I haven't had this problem as I water with soft rainwater most of the time and our tapwater isn't hard either.

Water with a watering can and put a tablespoon of vinegar in each gallon of water. That can help. Otherwise, I periodically put a bristle brush on my Dremel and buff my pots (and occasionally the trunks -- lightly).
