What the heck are these?
I purchased two odd trees at last year's bonsai show. No one was sure what they were but they looked cool!
The first three photos look like a Fukien Tea, but it never has had any flowers of berries. It was rounded and fully domed, but I recently began to open it up and look for the shape I wanted to go with.
This last one has never seen "soil", I got it planted in what looks like fishtank gravel, but it is doing OK. I plan on repotting it before putting it in my tropical plant are in the basement.
ID, suggestions and criticisms welcome! (Remember, there isn't much I have in final "pottage" so that would be a wasted criticism, but welcome just the same.

The last one looks like Euonymus fortunei 'emerald and gold'

If you are correct, and the photos I found while looking Euonymous f. says that it is zone 5 to 8 hardy evergreen. Guess this one should go to the cold frame? I left this one in the tropical area of my basement last year. Died back a little this summer but looks healthy now. Again, I plan on repotting into some better prepared bonsai mix.
Thanks,

I dunno! That's why I asked, but don't holly leaves have the scalloped edges, or just some? To me it looks like it could be some kind of Ficus and again it has a very similar structure to the Fukien Tea.

Yes. Looks like Ilex crenata 'helleri'.

Howzit Jay,
"Miss Kitty" wanted to know, do you live next to a pre-school? She sees the play stuff in the background of the first picture and was getting excited. Just because she's a pre-school teacher.
A Hui Hou,
