Nice specimen, May i suggest a slight lean to the right at the next repotting To me the tree looks as if it is falling over but is may just be from the angle the photo was taken from.

Howzit Jun,

Nice elm. ThumbsUp IMHO, the trunk looks just fine to me. It has a nice graceful movement, good nebari and the way the angle of the tree is now works for me. Maybe it needs to work more on the branching and the foliage but other then that, it's a fine tree.

There's a root sticking out from the back there that could be removed maybe... scratch Very nice tree though!

Thanks guys.

Seth, i intended to lean the tree to the left to avoid the immediate 90 degree angle take off of the trunk base. to solve the left side leaning effect im planning to build a denser foliage to the lower portion of the second branch to counter the much heavier first branch. then add some more foliage to the right side of the canopy... hope it will work. what do you think?

Could possibly work or you could rotate the tree a little bit to the left or counter clock wise to acheive the same effect as well as tilting to the right might have to play around a bit with it to see b4 making any drastic changes to potting angle .Another question is the 2nd branch larger than the first or is that an illusion I am seeing?? not trying to knock your tree but just qurious.

thanks Seth.
I will try your suggestion. nope, the first branch is lot bigger than the second. probably just from my angle of shot.

That's what I thought .You have a nice tree and a few options to work with good luck. Also mabye lower the nebari deeper in to the pot but not by much to make it look more stable would be another option.
