Good job. Nice movement between the trees.

Be careful that ground cover doesn't take over the pot (roots).

Very nice forest planting. The ground cover is a bit distracting, but that's a minor gripe.

Wow!! Now that is really nice with lots of negative space and use of elevation to imitate distance from forest. It looks like Zhao and Karen Albert design. I agree ground cover does nothing for me and may create misture problem. With the elevation and main tree in the front just rt. of center, you could make a ridge in center(like a walkway or crevice) with turface or also use small rocks(turtle shell). Might also consider one of the smallest trees on left to also slant. Dustin Mann Very Happy Very Happy

...Hi friends. thanks for the comments. guess i have to do something with the ground cover then.. just keeping it for awhile to hold the soil until the roots mature. Laughing

Don't sweat the ground cover. It appears this forest is "young," and that means you'll refine both the trees and the landscape that goes with them. In time, a good tight moss will work wonders IMO.

Keep us posted.

I like the overall compisition the mature tree and the younger trees protray a convincing display of what you may see in nature and will only get better with age well done. I have to agree with the others about the ground cover mabye a small elfin thyme and some moss would suit this better but no need to change it untill the trees are established. Keep us posted on the development of this .

thanks Seth.
will do, the trees are stable and strong now after couple of months in the pot . so a few more months it will probably achieve a more mature look. im planning to transfer the forest to a slab as soon as i get single root system, then il post it again.
