Your stone is beautiful and very inspiring of a coastal fishing village view. Please do not be concerned about your English, It is much better than my Vietnamese.

Hello tratanhung
... remarkable piece, the first image seems most realistic. I do not know I was a critical piece, but I like what I like, this picture perfectly play a mountain chain. Color and shadows play well holes and valleys. Congratulations ...

Hi Peter
I do not understand what you want to explain through that punctuation. I can not understand well ... but that has any connection with stone is cut? Or maybe you mean that as daiza not really the best choice ...?

Hi Hung-Tran... Peter's suggestion for adding feet really helps your last suiseki as greater height of the daiza helps hide that the stone is cut. Another useful idea is to turn the daiza wall more vertical (or even inward) rather than expanding as it descends. Feet supporting landscape view suiseki should be under the stone rather than extending well beyond the stone's footprint. The stone is great, but a little effort on the daiza (which is already well-fitted) can improve its suiseki-style.

Of course, you can (and often should) choose a style unlike suiseki "daiza" style. I like your choice for the "fishing village" island stone, which is distinctly different from Japanese suiseki mounting.

Thanks Chris ... Now I understand what Peter wanted to explain. Picture fooled me, drawn by his feet like they were real, so Peter's suggestion and your advice is worth following.

... Yes Peter, sorry I have not got what you wanted to explain, and why you asked that "daiza?" Now I understand perfectly. I was quite careful not to form daiza. For me it was obvious that he has legs at strategic points of stone ... again I apologize. cheers

Thank you, Hung-Tran, for managing the removal of Mr. DŨNG-ĐOÀN's stone & replacing it. I will remove the one post which is not yours that refers to the distinctively angled stone. I appreciate your clarifying the exchange of photos & your etiquette toward a stone friend

Please encourage Mr. Dung-Doan to share on IBC if he wishes. He would be welcomed, here.

Thanks, again...
