A little hosta

Post  Klaudia & Martin on Fri Jul 09, 2010 7:16 pm

Hello everybody

While testing my new lens I took a picture of this hosta in a pot by Klaudia and another kusamono in a friends pot.
I tried to take the fotos like "penjing" so famously did every time. I hope you like it!

Kind regards
Martin

Thanks a lot Mike.....the fotographing of a nice tree or plant is a great part of my fun with it.
I have made a special stand now.....and a new lens Cool Laughing bounce

Probably Hosta venusta.
Iris

Thank you Iris....it was sold to us as "Hosta sunset"....which seems to be a seller's fantasy-name.

Kind regards
Martin

The Hosta could well be Hydon Sunset, which tends to go a bit yellower in full sun. There are good pictures if you google Hosta Hydon Sunset. Venusta tends to be a darker green.
