Brown tips moving toward die back
One of several dozen evergreens (and only one doing this) has begun turning brown from the tips of the branches and working down. Lots of potential problems, what are the most likely.

Brown tips moving toward die back
I have noticed a real change in my evergreens(Junipers and Pines) since I stopped overhead watering. Have suffered with brown tips on Junipers and Pine needle cast on Pines and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with wetting the foliage?

I take it by not overhead watering your evergreens you don't get the brown tips? Or, do I have it backwards?
I'm concerned mostly because I'm only having the problem with one tree and it is in the same location, light exposure, feeding and watering schedule as all my other trees. It just strikes me as odd.
