His name: Michel Sacal

Walter, Karl, and many others know him.

Sad news indeed, I remember Michel from the forum way back... even having PM dialogs about some of you guys . The bonsai World has lost a true friend

Yes it was a shock for me as I am by his death heard. The World Bonsai has a very warm hearted and competent people lost, rest in peace Michel.

I'm sorry to hear of Michel's passing. The world is a better place for having him in our midst. He was a good bonsai ambassador who helped make the world smaller and closer for us.
I had saved his holiday greetings for 2008, all the more poignant today. [img][/img]

the loss of a bonsai enthusiast always means the loss of an awesome person, a great friend and a teacher. it is with a heavy heart that this is my first post on the new IBC. through his work he will be remembered, in that i take solace.
