Exploring a Carolina Bay

Post  jgeanangel on Fri Jun 18, 2010 11:35 pm

This past weekend I made a visit to a local Carolina Bay. This particular one is named Cathedral Bay. Carolina Bays are pretty interesting unexplained geographic phenomena...but I like them for their Pond Cypress trees

Thanks, John...the only thing missing was the 90% humidity!

Great video. Thanks. Kind of gets my zone envy going strongly, again!

And the skeeters. Don't forget the skeeters.

Thanks again John. If we weren't having such a prolonged stretch of glorious (and uncharacteristic) weather over here I think I'd be booking one-way flights right now.
