EBA Convention 2010 in Zurich, Switzerland

The 2010 EBA Convention took place in Zurich, Switzerland from June 11 to June 14, 2010. Here a few of the trees that were exhibited. These are some of the better trees from many European countries.

The architecture and design of the exhibit area was most unique. I have never seen anything like this. The Swiss have set a new standard. This had the feeling of an exquisite art museum. Well, the whole thing was in a museum of design anyway.

The lighting was exquisite! As were the trees.

A very good display, I enjoyed looking through the pictures there are some excellent trees in their, many thanks for posting Walter. Certainly looks like one of the best displays I've seen on the web and a very modern take on bonsai display.... which works!

What an interesting display! I would think it was actually better attended than it looks...? With that kind of bonsai on display, I would think it would be packed.

I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite... there were so many wonderdful choices!

What a display!!

Beautiful bonsai beautifully presented. Nice to see trees such as the Birch in there too. Was there many other deciduous trees? Seems a very high percentage of Conifer bonsai, but I suppose that's to be expected when it's of this standard.

i think the plain , tree against the white wall is the best display setting i've seen , far better than the usual
