In need of a logo picture
I am starting a bonsai club in my area.
I will need a logo/ picture of a bonsai. Could someone point me in the right direction to where I can find a good picture of a bonsai that I could use legally for our club.
Or can someone produce one for me please.

I'd be willing to produce one for you if you tell me what you'd like.

Thanks Chappy, if we could use a photo and color it a solid black on the computer thingy that would be perfect. Now who has a picture in mind?

Re: In need of a logo picture
Mick, is there a tree that is particular to your area? Maybe one that is only found there? That would be a good start point.
Or else there is the old half cliché of a tree trunk with the outline of Australia as its foliage. We did something similar with the Scottish Bonsai Association (the map of Scotland is a good tree trunk shape) and it is actually quite good.

Hey Fi, I love your pic.
Some of our native trees are Casuarina ( Australian pine)
Callistemon (bottle brush)
Banksia
Acacia ( wattle)
Eucalyptus (Gum trees)
Melaleuca
These are just some and are widely used around the world now like pinus Radiata, but some of the more common type would be just as good.
The map of Australia would look quite cool as foliage.
Fiona, i live in a little place called Bundanoon, we have a huge Scottish festival called Brigadoon here each year have you heard of it over there?

Law suites big time, even if you only use the outlines of a tree, we had a logo and one member was dumd enough to ask the owner if he had this tree and if it was okay to use it as our logo (in use for many years).
He wanted to get paid or........... you know what I mean???
