Schefflera forest Empty Schefflera forest

Thought I would share this as it is a departure from the more traditional banyan styling of this species. The cultivar is S. arboricola 'Hawaiian Elf.'

Hi, Ed....thank you....the composition stands about 15 inches in height excluding the container....that is a great picture of you and your buttonwood (wonderful material!) in Rob K.'s "Bonsai Socieities of Florida" post...

Tom, I don't normally like Shefflera anything, but that is a very nice image and composition. I've seen giant Shefflera forests along the Belize waterways that look much like it.

Jim: I always appreciate and learn from your candor on the forum. Thank you for the kind words. It is always my intention to create natural-looking compositions and I am glad that this one evokes that for you. I will have to google Belize and look for some imagery.
