What species of wood is the driftwood portion? It's a lovely piece of material. I can see why you would wish to have done something with it.

I'll try to find photographs of dry trees to see how it looks. Today I forgot to photograph.

I made a pot of peat and cement. Was coated with epoxy resin to which I added color and filler to lose brightness.
