Hello Eaton, I think these trees are great and have good potential. Great bonsai? It depends upon how one classifies "great". I like unusual trees and tend towards "Chinese Bonsai", pensai, or penjing. Look in books or on the web for Chinese trees; and check out the Chinese Collection, pictures, at the National Arboretum. Keep growing! Very Happy Regards, Todd

I think your pine has the greatest potential. Don't rush it though. They need four or five years of care after lifting, before they are ready to style.

They look like fun. Traditional Japanese style Shonin, doubt it, Original, natural, YES.

G'day Eaton...

They all show a lot of potential...to me. I'm sure that most of us would welcome them into our collections...

Be certain to follow Kev's advice...patience...patience...patience...

Pat…mounted on my trusty stead, riding off wildly in all directions…

They look cool! You could make a nice bunjin with the pine. Good luck!
