thanks for the comment Aman..... I was beginning to think I was being shunned. Smile

Last year about this time, I shipped two from california and they both got hammered so bad in shipment that they died. So this one comes from New York and I'm getting anxious and nervous about it's arrival tomorrrow. Fingers crossed for luck!

Cute little tree. You might want to think about reducing some of the branching to expose more of the trunk line and bring the brancing mass a little more in balance with the exposed roots.

Everyone needs a wife like yours by the way (and an appreciative husband like you I'm sure).

really nice quince, I like it as is, would not trim a thing. It has a very finished look for a tree as young as it is. The pot works well with this tree too. Nice finished feeling bonsai.

Of course the fun in the future will be the evolution of the tree, pot changes, etc, but it is so nice as is you don't have to do anything for a while.

I just saw these recent quince posts and now I want one badly. How hardy are these guys?

With winter protection, you should have no trouble keeping quince as bonsai in Ann Arbor. They are pretty tough.

mine came intoday via the post. Perfect shape...what a relief Smile

8 glorious inches from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree, and 8 glorious inches thru-out it's length.

It has one little green leaf opening and that's it. monday it goes in a green house to see if we can get it to wake up a little sooner.

as fred says, they're tuff lil beggers. they like full sun but you have to keep the moisture up on them. Smile
