Collected from Mt. Hood in Oregon 2002. I acquired it in 2004. First two images is the tree as purchased. The third image is of the first styling in 2006. The tree got quite stressed over the next two years, so, I removed the wire and planted the tree in a wider pot with mixture of free-draining soil and compost. It's recovered enough to start the wiring again last week. Next two images were shot in April and June of this year. I'll leave the fine wiring until the fall.

THAT BARK IS BEAUTIFUL!!! Nice tree. I have two spruce that I am working on now and they are teaching me a lot. They seem to be very forgiving. Salut, Todd
