Pitanga,Eugênia Uniflora...

It is a start!
We as Brazilians, are ashamed when it appears in the Net., as Surinam Cherry!
It is present in all our country, and has until an aboriginal name of: Ibirápitanga.
That it means: Red fruit.




Was collected the 4 years a go, next of my house!

Caro Luciano,

Eu também utilizei uma bacia plastica, para promover um crescimento mais rápido e o engrossamento acelerado do tronco e ramos da pitanga. Mantive ela por 10 anos na mesma bacia.

I also used a plastic bowl, to promote faster growth and accelerated thickening of the trunk and branches of the pitanga. I kept it for 10 years in the same basin.



For ten years I was wired and pruning mildly to stimulate growth. In the end I made a more drastic pruning.
