Create a virtual and fame will follow
I am presenting a demonstration on virtual bonsai at the Joy Of Bonsai event 20/21 March. The tree I will use is the Hawthorn shown here (it will be available for real at the event). I invite members to create their own virtual images and send to me and upload here. The audience will vote, (via a show of hands) on their favourite.
Here are the images for you to work with, If you wish to work on Higher resolutions please email me: tony-at-yamadori.co.uk lets see your virtuals.

Hi Tony,
Hope you are well! I rarely post these days due to lack of time but thought this was an interesting idea... my contribution below... not the best virtual artist but hopefully you get the idea. Pot would need to be a rectangle I think.
Jonny.

Not the prettiest of pictures I'm afraid, but this is what I'd suggest.

Make the cut, then let the new leader grow wild for three years or so. Then chop again a couple of inches up.
I'd expect to get buds popping in various places on the trunk, hopefully close to A (site for primary branch), B (secondary branch) and C, along with something in the back for depth (ideally between A and B). If it didn't happen quickly then I'd think about thread grafts.
Final aim, several years down the line, would be something like this (but better drawn

RE: Virtual
Hi Tony,
Here is my Virtual. Representing the Berkshires of Mass. USA.
I chose image 2 due to the fact that the apex is coming toward the viewer and the base flare is nice. Please let me know what you think.

Hi everyone, some great concepts so far. Make sure you take into consideration the strong leaning of the tree when choosing your idea, do you want the tree to lean away from you, if so the apex must be brought forward considerably to make the tree credible.
The reason for the movie is so you can fully understand the aspect and movement of the tree

These are not virtuals but just to illustrate not a million miles
and twelve years of training on this Yamadori Hawthorn would
produce a similar result ,the trunk line is very near the same
