In agreement with Jim Lewis....

Post  Tom Simonyi on Thu Feb 11, 2010 3:34 pm

Jim...I totally agree with your "I HATE SNOW" saying...I am anxious for the day that I can place a tree back on this stand...

Regards,
Tom

Oh, wait!

There IS a tree on that stand! rendeer

But be careful. It's dangerous to agree with me.

I'm getting pretty tired of the snow too. My trees are just outside my door on my deck but I still can't get to them because the darn snow won't melt.

I'm with Walter. I much prefer a good hard winter to our usual wishy washy wet ones. Kills off all the bugs, gives the trees a decent rest and allows for all sorts of recreational fun.

Tom and Walter - I love both images!

Thanks for sharing. Here on the central/northern coast of California, winter is just one rainy episode after another. Snow is only something we travel to for recreation and appreciation. You gave me my trip without the time and cost!

I don’t want to make any of you jealous, but the Plums (Prunus cerasifera) are just coming into full bloom on neighborhood streets and also sadly in natural areas (yes, they have become an invasive species…)

Thanks again for the fun, all we have here is drizzle (and badly needed at that considering our decade long drought.)
