Sharing my Ficus and Chinese Elm
These are photos of my Grafted Green Isle Ficus which I bring inside in Oct and it lives near the sliding glass doors for the cold seasons (33" tall). The Chinese Elm (30" roots to tip) is an import from China to Olivebranch, MS to me!, which I've had for two full growing seasons. Each year I keep the elm outside from April through December. It goes dormant and I then bring it inside and it starts to grow again. I lost another imported elm by keeping it outside (protected) all year because it was not very cold hardy. This is why I bring this tree indoors after approx six weeks of dormancy. So far it is happy. The elm is grown under cool-light flourescents. Also, the elm after some pruning 2/5/10.

Thank you, Tim. The fig was a lucky online purchase and gets better each year.

Hey Todd,
If you don't mind me asking, from what website did you order from?

It was an Ebay purchase over three years ago. I think the vendor went out of business though.
