Lava Rock
Hi everyone, lava rock is very hard for me to source here. The only place i seen it at all was Canadian Tire, for BBQ's. Its in large chunks so i would have to break it up myself, has anyone tried this?

Re: Lava Rock
Yes, I have tried to break up the lava rocks used for gas grills. IN my opinion, it is not worth the time, trouble or the $4 the rocks will cost. You can't even get a consistent size. Buy online or use another material.

If it is red lava, you can purchase on Amazon, but I have no idea of how you would view the cost.

I had a feeling that i was going to have to go online. Can't even get granite chicken grit around here. I'd say i'll give it a go breaking it up myself, just for a laugh.
