Re: Freezing rain
Beautiful Xuan!
Living a mere 15 minutes or so away from you, we also got that freezing rain. But unfortunately I didn't get pictures. I would love to see your trees someday!

Re: Freezing rain
You are welcome Ryan, but the best time is in Spring when the trees are back on the shelves, right now most of them are in their Winter refuge

Re: Freezing rain
Thats great that you guys live so close to one another. I grew up in Waynesboro and lived there til 1990. I visit there often cause my sister still lives there. The blue ridge mountains are beautiful.

Re: Freezing rain
Hi Xuan, what kind of trees do you leave out exposed. I see a few pines. What is the deciduous tree?
BTW, I live in Orange Co, VA. We had approx. 5/100 of an inch of ice from the same storm. Today was 59 F! Do yo us smell Spring in the air?
Best, Todd

Hi Todd,
Yes it's over 50 here today too, but again Saturday it will be -3.( I mean in Celcius)
The deciduous tree is a Berebri that I collected from my son's yard couple of years ago.
Regards.

freezing rain
Very nice pics Xuan, gives a different dimension to the trees with a coating of ice on them. I use to live in Pa so we got the same thing once in a while however, I don't miss it.
I guess the plastic 'tents' under the benches are where you hide most of the trees in winter?
