Nice report John.

My winter preparation entails changing my two sprinkler systems from daily watering to every 3 days. bounce

If we get a freeze (which is rare) then I have to do the bonsai tango and bring the sensitive stuff indoors or cover some but for the most part I leave them outside.

Thanks for the video tour, John...
I need to plan how better to protect my trees when we get the occasional nights down into the low twenties or lower...thankfully few each year. One of my main issues is protecting them from pesky bunnies and/or squirrells who like to prune my trees...something already 'pruned' my shohin Prunus ume and likely did a better job than I would have, though probably removed all flower buds for this season! Cool
