colorado blue spruce

this is what i do when all my other material is put away for the winter. holiday trees!!! rough stlyling and prune of this CSB today. i plan to watch the wire next summer and remove if tight and just feed and grow. rewire next late fall/winter, repot spring 2017 as im not root bound in this festive holiday pot. and hopefully start pinching buds to chase em back down the branches the following grow season. any critique is more than welcome, i know its a tough species to work with but figured id give it a shot. thanks guys



the second pic hides the chop i made to reduce the top. i only removed about 30-35%% of the foliage all around

im aiming for something like this minus the red pot and make some shari and dead wood. i know they are slow growers but i think i should be able to achieve this in a fairly short amount of time
