Howdy folks

I purchased a big and beautiful water elm just this past July 2015. I have searched the internet and my library for information on how to care for the Water elm and have not been able to find anything. Does anybody have a care sheet for this tree? Any help would be appreciated.

http://www.gardening.eu/arc/plants/Bonsai/Planera-aquatica-J.F.-Gmel/53485/  Brief but accurate enough.

I've had one for several years.  No special techniques seem to be needed.  They don't care if their feet are wet, but mine thrives under the watering schedule I set for all my trees.  Defoliation in midsummer seems to reduce leaves slightly.

Thanks for the info Jim, much appreciated. Since I live in Denver, guess is that I would have to place my Elm in the garages where the temps reach 40-50 degrees in winter.

PM or email me with your email address and I'll send you the care sheet I ship with the water-elms I sell.

Thanks Zach.  I've read quit a few of your articles and they have been very helpful with other Bonsai maters.  Thanks again.
