Hibiscus Bonsai

Post  kcpoole on Wed Aug 12, 2015 10:09 pm

I have got quite a few actually and are common in south east Asia.

They have many great qualities for bonsai, Backbud readily, ramify quite well,  take wire well, leaves reduce a little so better for larger trees, they may flower on larger trees too.
The wood is soft so any cuts need treatment to stop them rotting

Here is a link to my Shohin Progression thread on Ausbonsai http://www.ausbonsai.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=132&t=17636

I have no idea why you cannot see the attached image?
it is hosted on serverimage from here.

The Ausbonsai link you will be able to read but images are not viewable, unless you log in.

Anyhoo to the mods, this thread should be a reply to the first post in this thread http://ibonsaiclub.forumotion.com/t16885-collected-hibiscus rather than its own, I have no idea why it created its own Neutral
