Oh my I'm standing with Jim again. It does not give me a comfortable feeling. Please post some pictures when you have it potted. Maybe then it will give a comfortable feeling.

i do think it would "feel" better if there was some movement in the downward slope...
almost like steppes... (not steps)

Kevin ,Tentakelaertje, DougB,David.Thank you guys,
I have some plan for the pot that will make it feel more balance, actually if I turn the the view a little bit to make a group of foliage infront block the pot at haft will more balance , but I didn't take that photo of that point , and this is some more idea , I will leave the tree like this to develop first then will think more about pot concern again when the time is right in the future.
I am thinking maybe the pot including display stand for only this tree like one set individual .

Nope. It is still saying bad things to me. Maybe think out of the box (get some ideas from the Black Scissors) with a container and soften the long straight line.

"soften the long straight line" from this material is too late, if you see the material before styling you will notice about that couldn't bending any movement on the main straight trunk it completely fix like that since, it's been trained shape for garden ,not for bonsai,so I just do from what it been. I am not rushing to do that , actually I have more time for this no deadline, I still like the way of some custom nice pot, nature nice rock, or many way to be .but the tree must be improve develop first, in that point I will take it serious for container,

I love the avant-garde aspect of this one. Count me in on keeping the straight base (trunk). It's evocative of trees growing on a slope. Not sure I'd want to take care of one like this but really enjoy seeing an artist stretch (no pun intended. well, maybe little bit).

Thank you, yes the slope trunk base is fix straight like that because the concept from what else I can make from this kind of material that why it could not be that curve ,

unfortunately ,I can't make it from this material, but next project I would try on some procumbens material like this picture for the curve step trunk base.
Thanks for your comment.

Apisit,

I love it. It's different, fresh and forces us out of our comfort zone of left right back, left right back. I think you are going to have to come up with a very creative non-standard way of potting it to make it work. Time will tell whether you can pull it off, but I applaud you for trying!!! We need more of that in bonsai. Did you draw inspiration from some of Master Kimura's work?

Regards,

Andrew

Wonderful job again, Apisit! I love it. Had already been wondering how you'd pot 'em up, but hadn't thought of a 'mountain' this nice. This is going to make an even greater series if you put them all four on such great rocks.
Thanks for showing!

Thank you , I was that wondering that before too, but now for sure those 4 trees would be the same planting on the rock like you said.
