It is a willow leaf ficus. It is about 18" tall and has a 2 1/4" trunk. It was neglected for 2 yrs when going thru a divorce. I am hope someone can help me with some direction. I am in San Antonio Texas zone 8

Let's see if it is healthy, before doing anything more to it. Those earlier photos weren't very healthy looking.

I is a very healthy tree. Had quite a bit of new growth all over the tree

Hmm lower branches are much thinner than those above it. What species is it?

OP said Willow Leaf Ficus - Ficus salicaria or Ficus neriifolia depending on your viewpoint.
