Got my Dawn Redwood grove for Christmas...NOW WHAT?
I'm new to this forum.
I live in Palm Springs California in winter.
My dawn redwoods were shipped from Brussels Bonsai in Mississippi.
Brussels Hasn't had time to answer my question yet.
Could someone tell me if I should refrigerate my dormant redwood grove?
It spent 5 days in shipping and is now in the refrigerator.
How long do I need to leave it in the refrigerator?
Can I assume it's been dormant for a month already?
Any opinions would help....Thanks.

Wow! It is hard to imagine a more unfavorable environment for a dawn redwood than Palm Springs California. They like moisture and moderate temperatures.
I do hope you weren't planning on growing this indoors. I can't imagine on surviving inside a house, much less a forest growing on a shallow tray or pot.
These must be small if they're in your fridge. But they've probably had all the cool weather thy need (the do NOT want to freeze!) so you could take them out.
Here are some care guides I found:

My dawn redwoods will spend the hot summer in cool Portland
Oregon outside and they will be outdoors in sunny palm springs in
Winter.
