Hi. Some lovely trees there.
Can you tell us a bit more about this show - e.g. is it a national exhibition, how trees are selected, which of the displays depicted won awards if there were any etc.

Hi LanceMac10,
I too appreciate your comment very much
Hi Fiona,
This exhibition is a local, but as you can see their quality are absolutely top class.
Higo Gayu kai/club is organized by clients of Gasyoen in 2004. The club consists from about 16 members now.
Gasyoen is one of the biggest nursery in western Japan located in Mifune, Kumamoto. Mr. Masahiro Sasaki vice owner of Gasyoen
had been apprenticed at Hiramatsu Syunsyoen for 3 years and he has been producing his clients awarded various prizes including three times
of Naikakusori daijin syo/ Prime Minister prize at Gafuten.
According to a Gayukai member, picts of No.1, 8, 10, 21, and 24 would possibly win some prizes at the next Kyusyu miyabiten and Gafuten.
Hi Jim,
Thanks for your comment. There was only one mini display at this years Gayukai exhibition. I saw a few last year.
Next month I will attend two big show and will take photos including some fine mini displays, so wait for a while

looking forward to your next show coverages....with many thanks!
while I'm thinking about it, when it comes to a tree with scroll, could i get a clear shot of the content of the scroll. Always been a frustration of mine not being able to tell contents. thanks
