WOW sure wish I did. Interesting history here. Seems to have been caused by a reaction to spraying. Wonder if genetically this changed it so it could reproduce a like plant. Anyway this is neat and hope someone can provide more information.

yeah doug... that article is what set me off on my search... i have been in communication w/ weigerts in ft myers florida and andrea said that she has been told that hers are cork bark, but i am waiting for photo confirmation and if so, will score one when i visit me mum down there.
