Re: For Joy (Pinus mugo - yamadori "Three Snakes)
Hi all friends
Today I transplanted "Three Snakes' into a new pot. Erik Križovenský made the pot. I am very happy. The size of the pot is exactly right. I think the concept succeeded.I am very pleased with the work.

Very nice work. An interesting design and concept. I think it fit very well together. Shows that classic pots isnt always the best to put to use.
I wondered if the pot would steal too much from the tree, but it doesnt.
May I ask what kind of soil you use for your pines? How long does it hold the water?

Pot can be ordered from Erik. This is perhaps not a problem.

Hello friends,
I am very glad you like my pot like this.
Thank you Pavel, that I could do it.
Michelangellos Pieta would not, if he did not order.
I've filmed a short film, visits Pavel Slovak
and also visits the Miroslav Skrabal studio - beautiful bonsais.
After Easter Days they will have on the my web-page.

Hi Pavel and Erik
Some thoughts;
For me it is clear now that because this pot has strong shapes with a strong light and dark effects,
the tree needs to be styled as shown in the drawing with strong green shapes to answer the pot.
Love to see how you will proceed from here.
Here we see an example of a not traditional pot which is not a blob but has form, in this case form understood as a play with shapes.
A objekt is placed in a tokoname to isolate it in such way that it can be appreciated,
same with a tree in a pot.
The pot fits the tree of course in shape but has a manly serving nature,
the pot of Erik however is of a different kind.
Here two equals are put together which means we should accept that and create a clear harmony.
I feel a blob pot never serves a tree or himself, we might appreciate it as a stage in looking for new forms but
not succeeded yet.
regards, Sunip

Re: For Joy (Pinus mugo - yamadori "Three Snakes)
Hi all friends
Today I worked on adjusting the tree. Remove older needles. Several strong shoots I had to cut. The tree has a lot of energy, it is necessary to distribute branches to the composition so that it can not compete. They have enough light. The base composition is created.
