Re: About trees...
i struggle with that daily...
however, trees don't drive under the speed limit in the left lane,
pull guns and shoot their neighbors,
kidnap women and chain them in basements,
walk around 100 lbs overweight in a tube top,
or any number of injustices people commit against other people...
BUT all that did not stop me from immediately printing it,
running to the dollar store on lunch for a frame,
and hanging it on my office wall.
it will be further inspiration in the constant battle.
sincere thanks

Re: About trees...
Oh crap----here we go again. I think the moral and spiritual underpinnings of this little bit of prose is good and moving but it is on a level; un-realistic. Trees are the way they are and do the things they do because, for the most part, unless they become bonsai, are at the mercy of the elements. Human beings, on the other hand are often the victims of their own choices, decisions and misjudgments. Many human beings suffer at their own hands and as such may not be as worthy of sympathy as your Boxwood. The tree does not get together a bunch of lawyers and or congressmen to lay blame on you for how bad the tree's life is, it is the same flawed human beings that do this stuff trying to make themselves feel better or justified for making you feel bad for the trees and the deer tick. Sadly much of the rest of humanity is happy to profit from being victims, and will burn the tree for fuel if they find it necessary.

yep... here in the good ol' U.S. of A., a good portion of the population does not have the moral compass to guide how they use all the freedoms they take for granted and feel "entitled to"...

I was not pointing the "Oh Crap" remark at anyone but me and my need to respond as I did.
