good day
Excuse my English. I wonder what is your experience with growing small pinus with a huge trunk? I plan to grow from a one-year-old seedlings. I will be grafted onto the roots. Thinking about the possibility of more graft in one place for a stronger strain. Does anybody have experience? or any advice?

I would like bonsai similar link http://bonsai.shikoku-np.co.jp/en/shugi/20-2.jpg

Thank you very much in advance for your comment.

There are a series of excellent articles on developing pines from seedlings here, well worth the read and probably the best general directions available in English.

There was also an excellent article in Bonsai Today, but I don't know if it exists on the web due to copyright issues. Contact Stone Lantern, it is repeated in their book on Pines published by Stone Lantern. It also has been translated to english.
