curled up leaves

This one of my ficus infectoria ,but recently most of my ficus of this species  started having curled up leaves. Similar problem occurred last year this time around. Iam attaching a pic ,can anyone tell me the reason and solution.

When the leaves curl-up like that, it's an indication of drought stress in hot regions. You have more foliage than the roots can support at this time in such hot weather.

But i water twice everyday.But yes there was a very hot weather spell during this period.Is this temporary? Will new leaves grow and tree will b fine?
