Potting bonsai sprouts
Hey whats going on. New guy here. Started with about 6 or so seeds of a black pine. They have all sprouted and are looking really good. I have a bonsai pot that I transfered all 6 into.
The setup that I have going on is a humidity drip pan with some pebbles filled up with water. I have the pot sitting on top of that tray. The pot has some pebbles on the bottom and then filled with potting soil. Is this an OK way to grow these sprouts for a while? They seem to be growing nicely as is. Thanks for any suggestions!

I don't recommend the drip tray. That will keep the soil too wet. The tree seedlings will damp off and die. Keep the soil just BARELY damp. And, keep them outside.

Thanks for the response. I'll go ahead and remove the drip tray. Still ok to have the pebbles in the bottom of the pot and have potting soil on top?
