Forum infected with malware?

Every so often when I'm on this forum, and especially on my phone, a pop up box comes up telling me that my phone has three viruses and that I should click ok to scan my phone. I consider myself quite savvy with computers and in my experience this ALWAYS leads to an infection of some sort of trojan, adware,rootkit,virus, key logger or some sort of other nasties. When you go back a page the pop up box comes up again and again until you actually quit the website. Am I the only one who gets these pop up boxes come up on their phones.

I've never had that happen. For what it's worth I use Safari on an iPhone (also Safari on OS X).

I use android. I guess we're more vulnerable. Oh well, I just have to be careful. Cheers .

Never had it happen on the phone either and I use Android. Never had it happen on the pc either where I use Chrome.

Never happened to me on both iphone and desktop/laptop, which has avast anti-virus, which will prevent access to malware-infected sites.  Internet Bonsai Club is clean

What software on your phone is giving those messages ?

Hello Brett, its just a pop up box, telling me that my phone has three viruses and offering to clean my phone, that's literally what's on the pop up, no software name. Ive changed my phone anti virus and it hasn't happened since. Good that no one else have had this happen. I use Kaspersky now, so fingers crossed. I really don't want to be a scare monger.
