Ginkgo cut back
When would be the appropriate period to cut back the trunk of a 2 meter Ginkgo tree?

I have always done more severe chops on my Ginko's in spring. Be aware that they are very slow to heal on large chops and indeed may never close the wound. You may need to incorporate a uro into your future design.
