winter surprise
A little mushroom appeared from under the moss :-)
About the tree: It's a small sized Carpinus coreana which is formed from raw imported material. Last year I planted it under an angle on a 'slope' to make it a more interesting tree. This is the 2th styling. Hope you like it :-)

Great tree! And the mushroom grew in the perfect location... just like it knew it was part of the design.

@ Meagi, I'm not sure if it is an air-layer, because I purchased the raw material at a bonsai nursery.
But it could have been from an (little bit failed) air-layer, as the root-base is poorly developed and there's lack of a nebari at the rear side. So this is a point to work on :-)
