Fukien Tea and American Hackberry

Post  Khaimraj Seepersad on Mon Jan 13, 2014 1:49 pm

Good Morning to All,

Okay here we go. The Fukien tea is from my yard. ground grown and was larger, but the second trunk died off, so I took some time to rot it off. The termites took some time to hollow out the heart of the survivor. I figure if I had let the wood mature in the ground for longer, it would have been resistant to decay. I have another Fukien tea that was gifted to me, and was [supposedly ] about 35 years old back then, possibly 50+ plus now.
[ please don't quote me on those figures - thank you]

As usual, please feel free to comment, yah or nay.
Thank you for looking.
