I love this image! If you search long enough, you can probably find J. Maple material that will help you create this image. Of course you will pay a premium for specimen material; but its out there!

This maple is indeed more beautiful than pictures can ever show and the rest of the Portland Japanese garden is breath taking as well! On my blog [url=http://hans-van-meer.ofbonsai.org/2008/05/17/my-visit-to-the-portland-japanese-garden/][/url] is my litle impresion of my visit to that same garden a few years ago together with my big friendly host Jason! The whole garden is created against one side of a high hill side over looking the city. After you are brought to the top by small electric train you enter a world that a thousent pictures could not capture! The use of the relativaly small space was mind blowingly beautiful, every vieuw was a differant kodac moment! Smile
