On the Golgotha mountain.

since you've posted,I've struggled with what to say. The stone itself and your name for it, settles with me just fine. The yellow color gives it something different than most stones. But where i struggle is with the daiza. So simple in design and so close to the complimentary color for the stone. I think I would rather see the wood black in color. I think the feet are right in their strength to support the stone but think a moderate amount of carving on the daiza might give it a little more refinement.

I've attached this Taki suiseki as an example of what I'd like to see the daiza look like. The top ring of carving is small at the base of the stone and drops down to a second level. It doesn't detract, yet gives a little drama to the presentation.
