I have a cutting from a plant referred to as "moose tracks". Could you give me its scientific name as well as watering, temps, wiring etc. The leaf looks like the footprint of a moose.

My dictionary of common and scientific plant names lists Moose bark, mooseberry, Moose elm, and Moosewood. Nothing else. Google turns up an ice cream company. Floridata has nothing.

You are in Florida. Moose are scarce down there. Dunno who would have known what a moose track even looks like. Of course there probably are no native trees at The Villages, so who knows where this plant may have come from.

How large is this leaf? Can we see a picture?

The leaf is about the size of a dime and resembles the footprint of a moose. Could it be schefflera arboricola?
