One likes it that way, another wants it differently.
I like it the way it is.

Make no mistake, I really like it as it is.
And I'm not suggesting a change, just curoius what a virt would reveal in terms of the outline. I have seen a few of your trees, and like your approach.

Nice tree, I like it.
Have you considered wiring the lowest left branch of the right trunk to the left & up? It may make the two trunks more "cohesive" but as you said...it depends on your preference.

Re: Corean Hornbeam
There seem to be too many twigs & branches emanating from the same point (or vicinity) also. While it helps make the tree look good & full now, it will become a problem later, better to thin it down now and build the remaining primary branches properly to fill the "void" the eliminated branches will leave behind.
I'd probably plant it an inch or 2 deeper as well.
Just trying to help, I hope you do not think of me being too critical. I know it is easier said than done but I really believe these small changes can bump your tree to the next level.
Good luck!

i do too...
and this is a perfect example of the suggested alterations being pleasing mainly to the eye of the suggestors,
while not necessarily benefiting the design of the tree...
it is also a great example of why "judging" of bonsai in a contest is subjective at best and arbitrary at worst.
many trees need alterations (i have a bench full of them )
many trees do not (i have none of this category )
