I think I enjoy the image of the stone in the water as much as I enjoy the stone itself. Thank-you for posting. I very much enjoy the stones from Vietnam...

Hi Trantanhung

The stone is so much a hutstone to me...I really like it Smile
But it makes me a kind of sad to see it in a suiban...the surroundings are flooded.

Normaly is a hutstone never displayed in a suiban...a japanese rule.

Kind regards Yvonne

Hung...cheers
If you are going to display this stone at an exhibition,
in the Japanese style! Ms Yvonne is right!, don't it is a rule...cyclops
Thank You Ms Yvonne for that information.
My Bonsai Sensei Naka-san once told me in class!...Like a Star @ heaven
"know the rules! so you know how to break them"

This beautiful classical suiseki hut stone does deserve a special daiza for sure...cyclops
But if seen in a Tropical way, as in other country's, and want to say home?
Hut must have tall legs, so yes about possible flood or build in deep water to stay...Suspect
I have used this way with bonsai than grow in water or to give growing in lake affect.
I have also deep planted hut in tray bonsai with moss, stones and trees as Columbia jungle feeling...Suspect

If you make daiza with tall pole feet can have same meaning, IMHO
This is a Japanese Bronze Okimono with tall legs? so some where better answer.
but maybe see as I have...Basketball

*lake hut*

tall legs living in lake place bronze

short legs living in possible flood zone iron

Hung let me say first! these are incense burners, used in Tokonoma display,
but used because hidden idea of smell, of home cooking fire was purpose.
We have slept in lake hut on vacation that We took a small boat to.
*other ways*

I like the idea of a daiza with high legs, to honor the indonesian housestyle...very nice idea.

But to think about it afterwards  being placed in a dry or weat suiban, will be a kind of strange to me...two stands...douple display. Again a japanese no-no that makes sense....reason...too much going on.

A natural hutstone with natural long legs, would be a awesome indonesian display in a weat suiban.

Please share the Photo, when the daiza is carved.

Kind regards Yvonne

Ms Yvonne
Maybe one of your blue felt covered jiita's could mean Lake without wet suiban???
Then tall wood daiza feet would not be damaged and not "two stands" or "double display"
and then not a "Japanese no-no" and not "too much going on" ether! IMHO!
Please share the photo, when felt covered jiita is made.
